the
world's LIGHTEST, WATERPROOF, WINDPROOF, BREATHABLE and FLEXIBLE golf
rainwear is unique in the world because it combines all the best
features desirable in golfing rain wear without the penalty of price
and NO OTHER GOLFING RAINWEAR can boast having all the above-mentioned
features at ANY price.
We designed our rainwear for golfers. Pretty soon, our customers discovered that our rainwear was great for camping, cycling, and any sport done outdoors. If you can do it, you can do it in the rain with Tour Grade. The weight of the average Tour Grade suit is 16 ounces and because of its incredible water repellent characteristics, gains no additional weight, even in a downpour. Thanks to this unique feature, a golfer caught in the rain can put on a Tour Grade suit part way through a game and experience no detrimental effect on his/her playing movements, because of the light weight and flexibility of the fabric. As well, wearing Tour Grade offers the wearer a distinct advantage over players wearing the older-style heavy lined multi-layered suits which gain weight with moisture and inhibit the wearers' movements and swing. This is called "The Tour Grade Advantage" and is truly a real advantage to the Tour Grade wearer.
Layers mean added weight and restricted movement. Other brand rainwear relies on a series of processes, treatments, and layering to create a windproof and waterproof fabric. The result is a heavy rain suit that restricts movement and is too hot. A multi-layered rain suit can weigh as much as 105 ounces. In addition, other materials actually absorb some of the water they are supposed to protect you from. The result is a heavy suit that gets heavier in the rain and hampers your movements even more.

Millennium Micro 10,000 fabric is different. It starts out as an
incredibly light and strong fibre that is then treated on both sides
with the amazing HYDROPHILLIC POLYURETHANE COATING creating a
miraculous waterproof, light, breathable fabric that is virtually
indestructible. Micro 10,000 maintains a comfortable body temperature
in any weather. Instead of weighing you down, raindrops instantly bead
and simply run straight off the garment, maintaining its light weight
even in the heaviest rain.
is
manufactured from MICRO 10,000 a unique high-quality Polyester
Microfibre that is layered on both sides by a dual HYDROPHILIC
polyurethane coating that displays almost mystic qualities. Pull on a
Tour Grade jacket over your bare arm and feel the delicious, soft and
silky feel of the fabric. This is a garment that breathes beautifully
and never becomes clammy against your skin. That is why it is very much
at home over a short-sleeved shirt and being totally windproof as well,
allows the wearer to retain their body warmth with a minimum of
underclothing.
A good test of any rainwear is to form a cup with the fabric and run some water onto it. The MICRO 10,000 coating is so aggressive in rejecting water that the offending water is immediately forced into a globular form by its own surface tension and just wants to run off the fabric. For improved visual effect, ensure a seam is included in the cup. The water globules will sit above the seam for as long as one cares to hold them there.
The same total rejection of water means that regardless of how heavy the rain may be, the water just takes the easiest route off the garment, definitely not through a seam, but just away from the fabric. In strong wind and rain, the effect is even more remarkable and dramatic. Because of the total absence of friction between garment and water, the surface remains completely dry as the water droplets dislodge and continually run off. Scientifically stated, the microscopically fine pores of the MICRO 10,000 coated fabric are large enough to pass perspiration in the form of steam outwards, but in turn, are thousands of times too small to allow passage of a water molecule which, quite literally, cannot pass inwards through the coating.
MICRO 10,000 Micro Fibre contains pores that are hundreds of times larger than gaseous water vapour molecules. This allows perspiration, driven by heat, to escape through the fabric. In conjunction, the pores are thousands of times smaller than liquid water molecules. This prevents the elements from penetrating the fabric, thus providing the wearer with a dry comfortable, protective garment.
